Dong's Specialty Food was established in 2017 with one primary focus: provide the best lumpia in town. In developing our business, we kept these goals in mind:

To achieve those bold goals, we began with drafting a special lumpia recipe--one that would stand out far above others. We wanted to maintain our unique signature Filipino culture taste, but at the same time please the international taste buds from different backgrounds, cultures, and people from all walks of life.
It took some time for us to analyze and discover how to make the perfect recipe; one free of harmful preservatives and additives, healthy, tasty, and universally appealing to all taste buds. We never gave up--we added and subtracted, removed, measured, sampled, and performed many experiments before we were able to master the "perfect recipe."
We called and interviewed people we knew who were in the lumpia business to learn how to become a USDA approved facility and did our online research too. Our close friend and business owner knew how to make lumpia so we visited her factory and tasted her lumpia as she gave us a tour. She mentioned her factory was USDA approved and that she intended to sell her business due to medical issues. She then offered the factory to us and taught us everything we needed to know to run a successful lumpia business. This was a God given answer to our prayers!
Our product is made of 100% USDA grade beef and is available in beef, pork, and chicken. We even offer an all veggie option for our vegetarian customers.

From Factory to Fryer

After mixing the ingredients together, our lumpia is individually and carefully hand rolled into wrappers while adhering to time duration guidelines for safely handling meat.

Next, we freeze the lumpia, carefully packing them into 4 insulated plastic pouches, each containing 50 pieces.

Finally, we return them to our freezer, ready for delivery from our factory to your fryer.
